Enabling Cookies in Internet Explorer

Step 1: For Internet Explorer 6/7/8 :

From the "Tools" menu select "Internet Options..."

Step 2:

On the "Privacy" tab, set security to "Medium High" or lower

If you must have your Privacy setting on High, it will be necessary to add Books24x7 to the "Allowed Sites" list.

1. Click the "Sites..." button

2. Enter books24x7.com in the "Address of Web site" field

3. Click "Allow"

4. Books24x7.com will be added to the list of Managed Web sites

5. Click "OK"

Note: The highest Privacy setting, "Block All Cookies," does not allow adding allowed sites and will prevent your browser from working with any Books24x7 site.

If you have opted to override the automatic cookie handling, click on the "Advanced" button. The settings should resemble the dialog box below. Choose to accept first party cookies and allow session cookies. (Note: It will not affect your access to Books24x7 if you block Third-party Cookies.)
